02 February - AFC Emley v Hadleigh United

Set 03

 Competition : FA Vase 4
Result : AFC Emley 0 Hadleigh United 1
Attendance : 305

The Welfare Ground

Behind one end at AFC Emley, there's a Community All Weather playing area. which on this particular afternoon was a hive of activity.  We wondered, how many of the kids playing not 100yds from the ground, knew there was a match being played?  Commendable as it is for the community to have such a space, we were slightly saddened that at 15.00 on this afternoon, they weren't inside the ground, following their local club.
