17 April 2013 - Maltby Main v Brighouse Town

Four days after the home defeat to Scarborough Athletic, Brighouse Town were on the road. Muglet Lane was the venue as the visitors attempted to rekindle their potential promotion run at Maltby Main.  Playing in front of a crowd of just sixty-eight, almost a thousand less than their previous game, Brighouse set off at high speed and were a goal ahead after less than a minute. Twenty minutes later, the home side equalised and the score was level until the 83rd minute when the prolific Tom Matthews scored the winner from the penalty spot.  The promotion campaign rolled on ...

16 April 2013 - Stocksbridge Park Steels v FC United Of Manchester

Our second visit of the season to Bracken Moor, home of Stocksbridge Park Steels.  Originally arranged for New Year's Day, we were looking forward to this fixture since it was released. Park Steels were on the back of a three match winning run that helped considerably in their battle against relegation from the EvoStik Northern Premier League, Premier Division. FCUM had lost only one from their previous six games. Ultimately, this win for FCUM helped them reach third place in the League, but were denied promotion by defeat to Hednesford Town. Both clubs will meet again in the 2013/14 season, hopefully we'll be at The Look Local Stadium once again to photograph the day/night.

Look out for a photograph of a recent "Come Dine With Me" entrant and his dog!

14 April 2013 - Sheffield United Junior Blades U16 v Hepworth United U16

We were asked by Richard Finney of the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA if we'd be interested in covering another Junior Cup Final. After we'd enjoyed covering our first Junior Cup Final at Millmoor Juniors FC, Click Here : Thorncliffe Juniors U13 v Woodhouse Juniors U13  there was no hesitation in accepting the offer.  This was our second chance to feature a club from under the Hepworth United wing, we were there for their Ladies S&HCFA Women's Challenge Cup.

Primarily a match action feature, who knows amongst the following players photographed on here we may be watching future "stars" on our tv screens on a Saturday evening.
