26 February 2013 - Worsbrough Bridge Athletic v Askern Villa

Our final match for February saw us visit Worsbrough Bridge Athletic on a cold Tuesday evening. Fresh from their 3-2 victory over Selby Town (see previous three features), The Briggers faced an out-of-sorts Askern Villa, who were currently in a losing streak of matches. Unbeknown to everyone, this was Askern Villa's ninth consecutive defeat, a run which carried on until the end of the season, a sequence of twenty two consecutive defeats.

Competition : Northern Counties East League : Division One
Result : Worsbrough Bridge Athletic 6 Askern Villa 0
Attendance : 51

21 February 2013 - Sheffield FC (U19) v Teversal FC (U19)

Another bitterly cold evening at The Oldest Football Club In The World, Sheffield FC. A generator failure held up the kick off for twenty minutes.  The Sheffield U19s 2-1 victory here took them back to the summit of the league.

Portraits

We prefer to capture the portraits of supporters, officials, players when they are unaware of  our presence. Sometimes, our presence is noted, as can be seen in the top photograph, but the following two show two people totally oblivious to our camera. Candid photography isn't "secret photography", we do not hide behind anything, we blend into the scene to photograph that decisive moment.
