St George's Day .. A last minute offer to visit Skinner Lane, home of Pontefract Collieries, we gladly took. On the back of a 9-0 hammering of Askern Villa only three days earlier, this was the second of a four match winning streak that went on until the season finished on  May 04th.

A comprehensive 4-0 victory for Mark Shaw's team takes them above Athersley Recreation to the top of the league and leaves Rossington Main looking down on the relegation zone in the battle for safety at the foot of the NCEL Division One.

Volunteers, essential at this level of football walk away for home after taking down the nets and pulling up the goalposts at Oxford Street.
