The above memorial bench, situated at The Fitzwilliam Stadium in honour of long standing club secretary, Mark Crapper.  Mark, who sadly passed away earlier this year was instrumental in the reforming of Hemsworth Miners Welfare at The Fitzwilliam Stadium in 1981.

These supporters are what epitomises the spirit of a community. 
Their non-league football club is an essential part of the area, without their support, would struggle to survive.

On the night Hemsworth MW beat Bottesford Town 3-1, England were
rained off until the following day, drawing 1-1 in Poland.
