26 February 2013 - Worsbrough Bridge Athletic v Askern Villa

Our final match for February saw us visit Worsbrough Bridge Athletic on a cold Tuesday evening. Fresh from their 3-2 victory over Selby Town (see previous three features), The Briggers faced an out-of-sorts Askern Villa, who were currently in a losing streak of matches. Unbeknown to everyone, this was Askern Villa's ninth consecutive defeat, a run which carried on until the end of the season, a sequence of twenty two consecutive defeats.
