24 November 2012 - Albion Sports v Bottesford Town

Competition : NCEL Division One
Result : Albion Sports 1 Bottesford Town 0
Attendance : 23

Albion Sports play at The Horsfall Stadium in Bradford.
Tenants of landlords, Bradford Park Avenue.
The photographs that follow are of the stadium and facilities (I could photograph) from my afternoon at Albion Sports.  Hopefully, my next visit to an Albion Sports home fixture, there will be something in the stadium that promotes the club and the Northern Counties East League.

 "Black, Amber & Red"
The panels on the inside of the area in the Horsfall Stadium that are
in front of the player's entrance.

Here's the reason why there's also a dominance of green and white in the stadium...

"Another low point was reached at the end of the 1955-56 season when the club had to apply for re-election for the first time after finishing next to bottom.  After that humiliation, the club colours were changed to green and white for the 1956-57 season. The directors decided that no Avenue team would again disgrace the old red, amber and black colours"

"Manchester United 0 Queens Park Rangers 1"
Latest Score from Old Trafford.

"Albion Sports"
Watching the match whilst keeping one eye on the TV scores.

"Full Time - The Tenants Remove Their Nets"

"Loneliness"

"Warm Down In The Pouring Rain"

Bottesford Town, a 0-1 defeat, a long journey back to Lincolnshire in the driving rain, there's no post-match tv interviews and a luxury team coach to take these players back home.
